We're on a mission

Hi, I’m Kayna.

I’m not just a specialist, I struggled with a physically (+ emotionally) painful sex life too for over a decade.

Even though I was a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Sex Therapist, there weren’t obvious answers for relief in textbooks, lectures, or courses. But I wasn’t going to settle for a mediocre (painful) sex life. I dug deep, spending years and thousands of hours studying a wide range of healing modalities to find solutions that actually worked.

After a mind-blowing amount of personal and professional research and feeling like a totally new person when it came to my sex life I finally created the NeuroSomatic Method™ for Sex Therapy & Coaching for you: a trauma-informed model for sex therapy and intervention.

As an entrepreneur, I poured hundreds of thousands into coaching programs, transforming into the CEO I am today. These crucial lessons were absent from my Clinical Psychology Masters Program.

Recognizing the potential, I integrated these skills into my client work, leading to remarkable progress for them and allowing us to help more people in ways that fit their lifestyles and budgets.

We help clients struggling with painful or dissatisfying sex lives shift from burnout and disappointments, to hope and new possibilities.

OUR MISSION.

Our mission is to support and empower people from all experiences of life to feel more easeful, curious, and playful in their sexual relationships with themselves and others.

Although our company was founded to address challenges related to navigating sexual pain, we found our model and interventions address underlying issues impacting the spectrum of sexual concerns.

We are dedicated to providing offerings that are trauma-informed, warm, and inclusive, as we know the negative impact of culturally perpetuated shame, anxiety, and fear creates many barriers to exploring sexuality.

OUR VISION.

We offer more than just psychotherapy sessions -- sex therapy intensives, coaching programs, online client learning centers, and support groups.

Our goal is to move toward making information and services accessible to anyone interested in moving toward a more easeful and centered experience of sexual esteem.

Our vision is to create programs to help people feel empowered and in alignment with their own experiences of sexuality faster and with more clarity and ease than traditional therapy or coaching models. Our boutique model is tailored to each individual or partnership to provide a multi-pronged approach with clear action plans and goals to support clients in seeing tangible results more quickly to alleviate the need for long-term financial and time investments.

We know the culture of shame and discomfort related to sexuality is a major obstacle for most people, so all of our programs prioritize authentic connection and a sense of fun to support emotional balance as we address challenging topics. We are also committed to working closely with other healthcare providers and engaging in sex-positive education and care collaboration as we work toward a world in which sexual wellness is prioritized as an important and achievable component of overall well-being.

OUR VALUES.

Diversity

We believe that most sexual challenges are a result of or exacerbated by limiting cultural narratives of human experience. Our programs are designed to fully explore each individual’s multi-faceted sense of self and identity and to affirm and consciously integrate all aspects of self and sexuality. We are committed to making our programs and offerings as inclusive as possible and growing our team with an intentional focus on inviting various perspectives and lived experiences.

Collaboration

We know that our clients bring wisdom and understanding of their journey, which is key to our work. Therefore, we focus on our work as a collaboration - our practitioners provide insights and tools, and clients work with us to create individualized and realistic integration plans. We also know that our work is one piece of the puzzle, and prioritize strong working relationships with other medical professionals to ensure holistic care.

Balance

We believe it is important to hold space for the challenges and the joys along our journeys. All of our practitioners focus on supporting clients to clearly confront challenges while also holding space for their strengths. It is through being with our whole experience that we can resource ourselves and lean into growth.

Compassion

Loving self-acceptance is the root of our treatment and our goals. We know that every embodied reaction is there for a reason, and developing a practice of compassionate curiosity helps us to tune in, be with the parts of ourselves that need holding, and walk forward as a friend to ourselves.

WORK WITH SOMEONE WHO TRULY GETS IT

Sexual issues lasting longer than 6 months need a trauma-informed neurosomatic approach to sex therapy + intervention.
